Subscription Policy

Effective date: 22 March 2025

This Subscription Policy explains how Zoli subscriptions work. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What a subscription includes

A paid subscription gives you access to subscriber-only educational content on the Service (for example lessons and learning paths) for as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing, subject to our Terms and this Policy.

2. Plans and billing cycles

We may offer multiple subscription plans (for example different billing periods such as weekly, multi-week, or longer-term access). The current plans, prices, and billing intervals are shown at checkout and in your payment receipt. We may introduce new plans or retire old ones; existing subscribers are generally affected only as described at checkout or in notice to you.

3. Automatic renewal

Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current rate (plus applicable taxes).

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe (or another payment processor we use). You must provide a valid payment method. If a payment fails, we or Stripe may retry charges and your access may be suspended or ended until payment succeeds.

5. Taxes

Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of taxes depending on your location and our configuration. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout where required.

6. Free trials

If we offer a free trial, we will show its length and what happens when it ends before you subscribe. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends in accordance with the cancellation instructions we provide (typically via the billing portal).

7. Managing your subscription

You can manage payment details and cancel your subscription through the billing / customer portal linked from your account or settings (provided by our payment processor), unless we notify you of a different method.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund amounts already paid unless our Refund Policy or applicable law says otherwise. You typically retain access until the end of the current paid period; exact behaviour is as shown in your billing portal and confirmation emails.

9. Plan changes

If you upgrade, downgrade, or change plans, charges and timing (including proration) depend on Stripe's rules and what we configure. Details are shown at the time you confirm the change.

10. Price changes

We may change subscription prices for new purchases at any time. For existing subscriptions, we will provide reasonable advance notice before a price change takes effect on renewal, where required by law or by our agreement with you.

11. Account and subscription

Deleting your account or losing access to email may affect billing communications. Cancel the subscription via the billing portal if you no longer wish to be charged, even if you stop using the Service.
